FAQ
WEDDING TRIALS
Where does it take place? Glamroom Paremata - 17 Marina View, Mana, Paremata.
How long does a trial take?
1 hour for hair & 1 hour for makeup
Can I bring someone with me to the trial?
Yes. Pease feel free to bring a member of your bridal party or friend to the makeup trial. Their comments and input are very welcome.
Why is the trial the same price as on the wedding day?
You have the same time allocated, same amount of product used and I will put in the same amount of effort as I will on the big day.
Can you stay for touch ups?
This is an additional service I can offer. If you are interested in booking me for additional time on the wedding day please let me know when enquiring and I can add this to the quote for you. Price will depend on the number of extra hours you would like us to stay. (Message us for a quote)
I’m a bit nervous about booking right away. Can I book my trial and give a deposit at a later date?
Due to high demand we are unable to reserve your date past your trial without a deposit. I often have 3-5 inquiries per wedding dates during prime wedding season and highly recommend deciding that day to ensure you are able to book with me.
How far do you travel?
My travel fee is based on location and distance.
How do I prepare for my makeup trial?
It’s important that when we come together we both know the look you’re wanting, so bring inspiration pictures with you! This will help speed up the process and help us create your dream look. You’ll also want to make sure your skin is prepped, so stick to your skincare routine before (and after!!) the trial to ensure your makeup looks it’s best!
Proper skin care is also super important for brides in order to ensure makeup goes on smoothly day of AND at your makeup trial.
How do I prepare for my hair trial?
-
Please wash your hair the night before or, if necessary, on the morning of your trial. Do not arrive with dirty or wet hair! Arrive with dry hair – blow dry, rather than air dry, but avoid overusing heated tools/straighteners and please no product before your trial unless you have naturally curly hair.
-
Bring your accessories. Veils and other headpieces should be a given—your hair wouldn’t look the same without them! But don’t forget about jewellery. Bring any earrings and necklaces you plan to wear.
-
Please wear make-up on the trial (if you’re wearing make-up on the wedding day) so we can see a more 'finished look' at the end.
-
Please bring any photos/pics for inspiration.
Do you cut and colour hair?
No, we only style the hair.
