TERM + CONDITIONS
There is a 30% NON REFUNDABLE deposit when booking with JACQUELINE | MAKEUP BY J . This deposit is NON-TRANSFERRABLE, e.g. in the event that a member of the wedding party cancels.
Your booking with MAKEUP BY J is secure once your 30% deposit is received and confirmed in writing. Please note once you have paid your deposit and your booking is confirmed this means you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
There is a 30% non-refundable deposit when booking with MAKEUP BY J. This deposit is non-transferable, eg. in the event that a member of the wedding party cancels, their 30% portion of the deposit cannot be transferred to the remainder of the balance owing.
Prices are subject to change, if you have already paid your deposit then you retain the rates quoted at the time of booking. All quotes from MAKEUP BY J are valid for 14 days from date of issue.
Travel is inclusive for the first 15 kilometres from Wellington CBD to the booking address. For bookings beyond 15 kilometres from Wellington CBD we do charge $1 per kilometre, per stylist, according to google maps. Please remember to consider this as a return trip. We are happy to travel to any other location in New Zealand + Tahiti + Fiji. Please enquire for a travel quote.
EARLY MORNING FEE
An early morning fee of $50 PER STYLIST will apply to a start or travel times commencing before 8am.
Payment for hair and makeup services must be paid in full no later than 7 days prior to the booking date, via direct deposit or if previously arranged with JACQUELINE | MAKEUP BY J by cash on the day. Please note that as a mobile service we do not have eftpos and unfortunately do not accept cheques. The client scheduling the appointment will be responsible for full payment of all services, in the event that other people in the wedding party / group do not pay their portion.
In locations where parking charges apply these costs will be passed onto the client eg. CBD $4.50 per hour.
MAKEUP BY J do not offer refunds for any completed services; therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify JACQUELINE | MAKEUP BY J whilst they are still on location.
Cancellations or missed appointments without prior notice will be charged the full cost of the appointment. Cancellation of a wedding booking must be given in writing and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. All wedding deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, an admin fee will apply to a cancellation of a booking.
In the unlikely event that any of the team at MAKEUP BY J are unable to provide hair and/or makeup services on the scheduled booking date, we will make every attempt to secure a replacement hair and/or makeup artist. All discussions regarding rescheduling and refunds will be entered into on a case-by-case basis. In the event of a natural disaster, flight cancellations where the team at MAKEUP BY J are unable to safely get to a location, a non-transferable payment in full will be made to the client.
MAKEUP BY J is not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify us if you or any of your group has a particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. MAKEUP BY J are happy to use your own products that you are familiar with.
Time management is of the essence and adhering to appointment times is critical in ensuring that we deliver our high standard of service. Therefore when making an appointment time please note that these times will be strictly adhered to, should unforeseen circumstances arise please advise JACQUELINE | MAKEUP BY J as soon as possible.
